Corrections policy: how we fix mistakes
Found something wrong on WornXR? Here's how to tell us, what happens next and how we mark changes. Every correction is logged on this page.
We check facts against their sources before we publish. We still get things wrong sometimes. Makers update their lists, firmware changes how glasses behave and typos happen. When we're wrong, we want to know.
How to tell us
Send your report to stubblefieldsolutions@gmail.com. It helps if you include:
- The link to the page.
- What's wrong, in a sentence or two.
- A source if you have one, like the maker's support page or a photo of your setup.
Did a pairing work differently for you than the checker says? Use the Report your result link under your answer instead. It starts an email with your glasses and device filled in.
What happens next
- We check your report against the source.
- If you're right, we fix the page.
- If we can't confirm it either way, we say so on the page. A checker answer we can't confirm goes back to "Not verified."
Corrections, updates and small fixes
Not every change is a correction. Here's how we handle each kind:
- Corrections. We got a fact wrong. We fix it, add a dated note to the page that says what changed, and list it in the log below.
- Updates. The facts changed, like a new firmware or a newly confirmed device. We update the page and its date.
- Small fixes. Typos, broken links and clearer wording. We just fix them.
