The Luma and Luma Pro are VITURE's mid-range pair, and they share a lot. Same sharp 1920×1200 screens. Same 120Hz refresh rate. Same electrochromic dimming. So what does the Pro's extra $100 actually buy? Less than you might think. And one difference could matter a lot for your eyes.

The short version

Get the Luma if you're nearsighted up to -6.00 or you want the best value. Get the Luma Pro if you care about sound, or you'll pin screens in place for work.

Price

When we checked on November 2, 2026, VITURE listed the Luma at $399 and the Luma Pro at $499. The Luma Ultra sits above both at $599.

Where the Luma Pro earns its price

Better sound. VITURE lists HARMAN AudioEFX on the Luma Pro. For the Luma, it lists an AAC system instead. If you often watch without earbuds, this is the upgrade to care about.

Steadier pinned screens. VITURE says the Luma Pro has a built-in magnetometer to help minimize drift. SpaceWalker for Mac also has a head tracking correction option tuned for it. That helps if you park three screens around you for a workday. VITURE doesn't say whether the plain Luma has a magnetometer.

A slightly wider view. VITURE lists 52° for the Pro and 50° for the Luma. It's a small step, not a leap.

Where the Luma wins

Stronger focus dials. This is the big one. The Luma's dials correct nearsightedness up to -6.00. The Luma Pro's stop at -4.00. If your prescription falls between -4.00 and -6.00, the Luma could save you from buying inserts. Neither dial fixes astigmatism, though.

The easiest fit. VITURE says the Luma has the largest eyebox in its lineup. In plain terms, it's easier to find the sweet spot where the whole picture looks sharp.

A touch lighter. It's 77 g against the Pro's 79 g in the Regular size. You won't feel two grams, but it's not heavier.

The price. You keep $100 and get the same screens.

What's the same

  • Sony Micro-OLED screens at 1920×1200, a 16:10 shape that suits a Steam Deck or a laptop
  • A 120Hz refresh rate
  • Electrochromic dimming, so you can darken the lenses for a better picture
  • 3DoF tracking that runs in VITURE's SpaceWalker app, not on the glasses

Things to know before you buy

  • Neither has 3DoF built in. Want a screen that stays put without an app? Look at VITURE's Beast. Its tracking runs on the glasses.
  • Dials or inserts? Dials only fix nearsightedness. For astigmatism, you'll need inserts on either pair. The Beast prescription guide explains how VITURE's custom lenses work.
  • Both work with a lot of gear. VITURE confirms both for the Steam Deck, MacBook, Galaxy phones, ROG Ally and recent iPhones.
